Roland CUBE Street EX 50W Battery-Powered Stereo Amplifier

The Roland CUBE Street EX takes the portable, battery-powered concept of the original CUBE Street and expands it with greater output power, additional connectivity and increased versatility.

With 50 watts of stereo power, four independent channels and a full-range speaker system, the CUBE Street EX is designed for street performance, live music, rehearsals, presentations and other situations where portable amplification is required.

Despite its powerful output, the amplifier weighs just 7.4kg (16 lb. 5 oz.) and can operate from eight AA batteries.

50 Watts of Portable Stereo Power

The CUBE Street EX delivers up to 50 watts of stereo output, providing the projection needed for larger performance spaces and audiences.

Its speaker system combines two 8-inch woofers with two 2-inch tweeters, producing full-range stereo sound for vocals, instruments and backing music.

Three Selectable Power Modes

Selectable output modes allow performers to balance amplification power against battery life depending on the situation.

Max mode delivers 50 watts with approximately five hours of battery operation, while Normal mode provides 25 watts for approximately 10 hours. Eco mode reduces output to 10 watts and extends operation to approximately 20 hours.

Four Independent Channels

Four independent channels provide extensive connectivity for microphones, guitars, instruments and external audio devices.

This makes the CUBE Street EX suitable for solo performers as well as duos and other compact live setups where multiple sound sources need to be amplified simultaneously.

Dual XLR Microphone Inputs

Two XLR microphone inputs allow two vocalists or presenters to connect microphones at the same time.

Separate channel controls provide practical adjustment for different sources, making the amplifier useful for vocal-and-instrument performances and small ensemble setups.

COSM Guitar Tones

Built-in COSM guitar amp tones provide Clean, Crunch and Lead sounds for electric guitar, allowing players to connect directly without requiring a separate guitar amplifier.

An acoustic guitar preamp is also included for players who require a clean, natural amplified acoustic sound.

EQ and Reverb Controls

Dedicated EQ and reverb controls provide additional sound shaping for connected instruments and microphones.

These onboard controls allow performers to refine their live sound directly from the amplifier without requiring an external mixer or effects processor for basic setups.

Battery or Mains Operation

The CUBE Street EX can operate from eight AA batteries, providing genuine portability for locations where mains electricity is unavailable.

With up to 20 hours of operation in Eco mode, it is particularly well suited to busking, outdoor performances and mobile events.

Stage Monitor Design

An angled-back cabinet design allows the CUBE Street EX to be positioned as a stage monitor, directing the sound toward the performer.

Stereo Line Out connections can then be used to send the signal to an external sound system.

Speaker Stand Compatible

For increased sound projection, the amplifier includes a mounting hole for the optional Roland ST-A95 Speaker Stand, allowing it to be elevated in suitable performance environments.

Stereo Link for Expanded Sound Coverage

The built-in Stereo Link connections allow two CUBE Street EX amplifiers to be linked together.

This provides broader sound coverage and creates a larger portable amplification system when additional output is required.

i-CUBE LINK Connectivity

Roland’s i-CUBE LINK provides integration with compatible iPhone and iPad devices, allowing performers to play along with backing music and record performances.

Combined with Roland’s compatible CUBE JAM app, this adds useful practice and recording functionality to the amplifier.
